Andrew and I were at a fair with the kids (AJ and Benny). AJ ran off and got on a plane. I had Benny in my arms and followed him. The plane was small but was a double decker with top and bottom seats and was very futuristic looking. Benny and I got on the plane, I had him on my lap. AJ was on the lower level and I could barely see him. The plane took off and kept flying and I got confused because I thought it was a ride. I asked the lady next to me to hold Benny while I put on my seatbelt. I then asked what’s going on with the plane? And she said we’re going to Minnesota. And I said Minnesota!?!? I can’t go there I thought this was a ride. So after some talk to plane agreed to land so we could get off. When I got myself and Benny off the plane, AJ was asleep on the lower level. We got off and hung out in a country looking town. I called Andrew to come pick us up but he didn’t answer.
Dreams can often reflect our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and life situations. Your dream appears to contain several key themes and symbols that can be interpreted as follows:
Travel and Journey: The plane may symbolize an unexpected journey or transition in your life. Since you thought it was a ride, this could suggest that you feel you're on a path or in a situation that's not quite what you expected. This could be related to parenting, responsibilities, or changes in your personal life.
Children and Responsibility: AJ and Benny represent aspects of yourself and your responsibilities as a parent or caretaker. AJ's running off could indicate feelings of concern or anxiety about losing control or being unable to protect your loved ones. Holding Benny on your lap might symbolize the nurturing side of you that wants to shield and care for your younger child.
Confusion and Lack of Control: Your confusion about the plane being a ride suggests feelings of uncertainty and a potential lack of control over your circumstances. You might be experiencing anxiety about decisions or paths in your life, particularly relating to family or future plans.
Minnesota and the Destination: Minnesota can symbolize a place of comfort or a particular goal in your life. Your surprise at flying there could indicate that you’re grappling with unexpected aspects of your journey – perhaps you didn’t anticipate certain responsibilities or challenges.
Calling for Help: The inability to reach Andrew might signify feelings of isolation or the desire for support. This could reflect a fear of not having help when you need it, especially during trying times as a parent.
The Two Levels of the Plane: The dual levels of the plane might represent different aspects of your life – responsibilities towards your children, your relationship with Andrew, or even your personal ambitions. The fact that AJ is asleep may suggest that some parts of your life (like particular concerns or issues) are being ignored or not currently active in your consciousness.
The Country Town: After getting off the plane in a more relaxed setting might symbolize a desire for simplicity or a retreat from complications. It could represent a wish to slow down and find grounding amid life's chaos.
Overall, this dream seems to reflect your thoughts on parenting, unexpected shifts in your life journey, and the need for support and reassurance in navigating your responsibilities. Consider how these themes might relate to current situations or feelings in your waking life, as they can provide insight into what you're processing emotionally.
